Why should I reserve my seat?
We want to host the best event we can, so we ask you to let us know who's coming. Knowing how many babies, children, teens, and adults to expect allows us to make sure we have enough seats and treats!
This event is ENTIRELY free, and no ticket is needed. Didn't get the chance to register? No problem! We'd love to have you join us on December 24th.
How do I plan my visit?
If it's your first time at New Harbor, we encourage you to come 10 minutes early to allow for parking and grabbing a cup of coffee or hot chocolate before service begins. You can use this time to meet others, take fun pictures in our Community Cafe, or enjoy our Hot Chocolate Bar!
The church is uniquely located among warehouse buildings off of East 2nd Street in Benicia. A blue New Harbor Community Church sign stands on the street side of the lot for those driving by to see.
We'll have a parking spot saved right up front just for you. One of our HUGs team members will greet you and show you where to go.
During our candlelight service, we invite families to sit together, kids and all!
Families with newborns or toddlers are welcome to use the Family Room, a quiet, comfortable room that allows parents to see and hear the service.
What should I wear?
Our church leans on the casual side - on a typical Sunday most of our congregation can be found in jeans and a nice top. However, there's something about Christmas that makes people want to dress up! Don't be surprised to see a range of everything from basketball shorts to suits, ripped jeans to dresses. Come in whatever feels right to you, and we're sure you'll fit right in.
What will the church service be like?
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by one of our HUGs team members. They'll show you around and point out where the free coffee is. You'll receive a program with information on our ministries and a candle for lighting during the service.
During service, we'll sing songs celebrating the arrival of God With Us... the birth of Jesus! Not sure what that means? No problem - that's the whole 'point' of the message! Our Christmas service will be a little shorter than an average Sunday - only 60 minutes total. There will be some songs, a short message, and a quiet candlelighting.
After service, stop by the Connect Counter. We'll have a little gift to say "thank you" for spending Christmas Eve with us.
